Look for Bill Goldberg to defeat Hulk Hogan by DQ when they clash on Nitro next month. Obviously Goldberg wont become WCW champ because that will infuriate WCW workers who will never get that opportunity. Besides, then you'd have Goldberg defending the WCW championship against Robbie Rage to start hour 2 of Nitro so it just wouldn't look good. Beating Hogan around the ring will further elevate Goldberg's status in WCW and will set up for an eventual match between the two for the WCW title way down the road. This match on Nitro will be historic.

Raven (Scott Levy) is said to be upset at WCW for only giving him a one day US title reign. Holding the US title was one of the things that WCW promised Levy for signing with WCW. Levy has apparently not been given any signs that he will hold the belt again any time soon. This is one of the reasons why WCW have given Levy some booking duties for his angles.

WCW Hotline Report courtesy of The Flying Englishmen: This past Saturday, June 20th tickets went on sale in Salt Lake City for July 20th, Monday Nitro. Dion Sanders and..some guy Hammer are great fans of Goldberg. When Goldberg is on, they won't let anyone touch the remote control. He starts talking about trading cards, and how a 1989 card...a player is flashing the nWo Sign. Buff working out again(rehabilitation). Can't put any pressure on neck. For you computer geeks, check out his website at http://www.buffstuffinc.com. Glacier is auditioning for recurring role in Walker: Texas Ranger. Hogan's connections have gotten him this audition, as late 20's private investigator.

Dave Melzter reports that Scott Hall wil return on Nitro this Monday and will rejoin Kevin Nash in the Wolfpack. Having Hall turn on Nash was a good idea. They just did it at the worst possible time. Hogan vs. Bret and Hall vs. Nash would have been a nice double main event for Starrcade. It still may happen.

Our final WCW rumor comes from Joe Deleon. Many rumors have circulated stating that several WCW wrestlers' contracts are almost up, which leads them straight to the WWF. Those wrestlers are Rey Mysterio, Jr., Konnan, Psychosis, Juventud Guerrera, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Dean Malenko, Chavo Guerrero, Jr., and Eddie Guerrero. To clarify things, contracts for Mysterio, Konnan, Psychosis, and Juventud Guerrera do not run-up until next August. Contracts for Benoit Jericho, Malenko, and Guerreros, do not run-up until November of 1999. Many of them are likely to be headed to the WWF once their contract expires -- especially with Los Superastros (WWF Latino) getting underway.
